SIMILAN ISLANDS MARINE NATIONAL PARK
Diving boat trip from Phuket (60 Miles): 7-hour navigation trip by a dive liveaboard boat.
Boat trip from Thap lamu (30 Miles): 2-hour drive by minibus to Thap Lamu in Phang-Nga, then 2-hour by speedboat to Similan or 4-hour navigation by powered dive boat.
Visibility: 20-40m. Depth: 3-30m.
The Similan Islands can claim as one of the top 10 destinations in Asia with over 20-30 different dives. On the East Coast, the dives at Similan Islands are on gentle slopes and drop-offs of fish teeming with impressive gardens of sea anemones and corals flourishing hard or soft. Dives on the west coast of Similan Islands is completely different. Here, huge granite boulders cascade down to the bottom at depths of 40m or more. The strong currents prevent the accumulation of sand between the rocks, promoting the formation of a network of tunnels, arches and caves to explore. The currents bring nutrients for masses of gorgonians, crinoids, soft corals and lush. Pelagic like whale sharks or reef sharks, manta rays, the eagle ray, barracuda, kingfish and tuna are frequently observed at the Similan Islands.

DAY DIVE TRIPS INCLUDE
- All participants: Hotel transfers from Kamala, Kalim, Patong North & South, Karon, Kata, Nai Harn, Chalong and Rawai Beaches (Other parts of Phuket Island: Please contact us), Boat, dinghy, breakfast, fruits all day-long, buffet-lunch, water, tea, coffee, chocolate and soft-drinks.
- Snorkeler: Snorkeling with a local guide on the shallow reef with a mask, snorkel and life-vest on.
- Certified diver (Fun dives): Tanks, weights and 2 to 3 fun dives under the supervision of our multilingual Instructor / Divemaster.
DAY DIVE TRIPS DO NOT INCLUDE
- Scuba diving and snorkeling equipment, national park fees, beers, tips (Crew, instructors, divemasters and guides).

PROGRAM OF THE DAY DIVE TRIP - SIMILAN ISLANDS
- 06:30 - 08:00 - Transfer by minibus from hotels in Phuket Island to Thap Lamu in Phang-Nga Province.
- 08:00 - 08:30 - Transfer to get onboard the speedboat.
- 08:30 - 10:30 - Transfer by speedboat to the dive boat at Similan Islands.
- 10:30 - 11:30 - Diving bag check-out, filling administrative papers and dive briefing.
- 11:30 - 12:45 - First dive at Similan Islands.
- 12:45 - 13:45 - Buffet-lunch.
- 13:45 - 15:15 - Second dive at Similan Islands.
- 15:15 - 17:00 - Transfer by speedboat from the dive boat to Thap Lamu Pier.
- 17:00 - 19:30 - Transfer by minibus from Thap Lamu to the various hotels of Phuket Island.
SCUBA DIVING EQUIPMENT RENTAL
- Full diving equipment with fins, mask, snorkel, BCD, regulator and shorty: 700 Baht per diving day
- Regulator: 250 Baht per diving day
- BCD: 250 Baht per diving day
- Air and Nitrox dive computer: 300 Baht per diving day
- 3mm shorty wetsuit: 150 Baht per diving day
- Dive torch: 150 Baht per diving day
- Mask and Snorkel: 70 Baht per day
- Mask with corrector lenses and Snorkel: 100 Baht per day
- Full foot fins: 70 Baht per day
- Fins with Straps and boots: 100 Baht per day
PADI DIVING COURSES TAUGHT ON DAY DIVE TRIPS
PADI dive training courses such as Open Water Diver, Nitrox Diver, Deep Diver, Specialty Diver, Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster, may be taught during day dive trips at almost all Phuket dive sites. Consult us.

INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR BOOKING
Reservation for any dive tour (Mandatory by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports)
To book an excursion, a day of diving or a diving course with Seafarer Divers Phuket, we need to have this information:
- By all participants: Name and first name, photocopy of passport, nationality, full address in Phuket (Hotel with room number, private house, condo, etc.), arrival and departure dates to and from Thailand.
- Per diver: Photocopies of the diver's certification and logbook with the last dives (certified diver only), height and weight in metric system, the size of the BCD (Stab-jacket) and the wetsuit (XXXL, XXL, XL, L, M, S, XS), the size of the feet for the fins.
